At Olson and Olson, Inc., we manufacture Single and Double Acting Hydraulic Cylinders, Rams, Telescopic Cylinders, and Custom Design Cylinders, as well as Cylinder Component parts. We provide state-of-the-art precision machining services, and expert welding fabrication.

Products and Services

Our single acting hydraulic cylinders use hydraulic pressure to actuate the rod in one direction to extend. We offer both piston and ram-type cylinders which can be gravity or spring returned to meet your specific application needs. These cylinders are used in dump beds, dump trailers, Aerial Boom and Scissor Lifts and vertical mast lift applications.

Our double acting hydraulic cylinders use hydraulic pressure to actuate the rod in both directions to either extend or retract it. These cylinders are used in dump trailers, material handling, telehandlers, utility cranes, lift gates and hoists.

Our telescopic cylinders use multiple stages to enable longer strokes to be achieved, while utilizing less space. These cylinders are used in dump trailers and many other applications.

With Olson and Olson's custom design, build, or cylinder modification capabilities, we can design cylinders to meet your needs or we can build or modify cylinders to meet your specific applications. These cylinders can include safety and internal load-holding valves, as well as mounting plates. Our prompt prototype turnaround helps you stay on schedule.

All of our cylinders are pressure-tested and can be provided unpainted or painted (wet or powder-coated).

Over the years, we've found many customers lack the space, knowledge, or internal resources to effectively manage their own inventory. Therefore, we developed the following programs to minimize our customers' inventory management worries:

• On-Site Inventory at Olson and Olson, Inc.'s Facility: Under this agreement, we will carry stock for you and provide JIT delivery to minimize your warehousing and inventory management concerns.
  
• On-Site Management of Inventory at Customer's Locations*: With an on-site inventory management agreement, we will act as your partner in performing inventory audits at your location(s). We will also guide your Purchasing Department in cost-effective re-ordering and inventory management.
  
• On-Site Consignment of Inventory at Customer's Locations*: With an on-site consignment agreement, you won't pay for our products until you pull them from your in-house inventory.

Olson and Olson, Inc. was founded in 1989 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania as a machine shop. Our consistent focus on providing customers with the best services and products possible has enabled us to sustain a loyal yet growing customer base. We constructed our current facility in 1999 and now have a spacious 60,000 square feet of potential space to work in.
